1) Please note that discounts are available for CLC members. Please check with your employee assistance program to determine if you have this benefit.
(2) The average cost of a mediated divorce in the U.S. is approximately $7,000. This fee is FamilySolve's average cost for a complete divorce. Each couple varies as to the amount of time needed so the actual length of the mediation may vary.
(3) Based on reports of FamilySolve clients.
(4) According to US News and World Reports, June 13, 2008, Bonnie Erbe, who reports..."quotes one expert who estimates the average cost of a mediated divorce is less than $7,000. The average cost of a collaborative divorce is less than $20,000. The average cost of a divorce negotiated by rival lawyers is $27,000, while a primo-style, nasty, litigated affair runs some $78,000."
Appointments for Separation|Divorce
Appointments are available by calling 781.643.3577. We will talk with you about your situation and also schedule a time to speak to your partner or spouse prior to the first appointment. Because mediation is about informed decision-making, and the mediator is a neutral third-party guide to the process, it is important that both people have the same information and opportunity to have their questions answered prior to coming in for the first meeting. This also allows the mediator to get a sense of the issues involved and what other resources may be appropriate and necessary.
Appointments are available weekdays. Some early morning and late afternoon/early evening appointments are available to accommodate work schedules.
